not interested in the older daytonas. no ABS. they looked better, but that lack of ABS means its not on my list

ABS is nice, but I wouldn’t really deem it necessary. Not having ABS has gotten me in trouble once. Although I don’t track ride on my current bike.

seeing as i DD my bikes (no car...and canada isnt exactly known for being the best in terms of moron drivers, sand on roads, cleaning up oil spills, etc etc etc)
ABS will be on my daily-ed bikes. always. the weekend bruiser i bring out time to time? maybe not. but 100% on the dailys

Minnesota isn’t great either with the beat up roads thing. One night my buddies and I rode to local speedway to watch some racing. We end up leaving to go ride our favorite local road. This road happens to be in a river valley so we descend into it and the temperature plummets from mid 70's to high 40's. So we end up hauling down this road because we werent equipped for the cold and we ended up outriding our headlights and hit a patch of gravel at about 100. Biggest code brown moment ever.

And when you hit 25 you no longer need to pay the $25/day underage fee when renting a car. Because when you are younger you have more money to spend on things.
